GLENN HUGHES To Perform At Holland's CLASSICS IN ROCK
January 9, 2007Legendary bassist/vocalist Glenn Hughes (DEEP PURPLE, BLACK SABBATH) is confirmed to perform at the Classics in Rock event, which will be held March 23 in Rotterdam, Holland. Joining Glenn will be Anders Olinder on keyboards and Jeff Kollman on guitar. Other artists to appear at this special classic-rock evening are John Waite, Neil Murray and many more. After his appearance, Glenn will travel to London where he will play the Shepherd's Bush Empire on March 25. This is the rescheduled show from October last year.
Glenn Hughes' latest solo album, "Music for the Divine", will receive its long-awaited U.S. release on January 30, 2007 via Demolition Records. The CD, which is available now in Europe on Frontiers Records, was recorded in Chad Smith's house in Los Angeles and again features Smith on drums and longtime Glenn Hughes collaborator JJ Marsh on guitar. Also featured are RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS guitarist John Frusciante and Mark Killian, who has provided the string arrangements and keyboards.
